This is the Old Custom House near the southern tip of Manhattan. It dates back to the early Dutch settlers. It is going through restoration now with the front under construction.
This is the new NY terminal for the NY Waterway Ferry. I pass through here when I go to the city. It is a ridiculous fact that $55-million was spent to build what is ostensibly an open-air tent.
This is the famous Winter Garden of the World Financial Center. Inside are shops. restaurants, and sometimes classical music performances. Most of the glass was destroyed on 9/11 but is now rebuilt.
These next few shots are the southern tip of Manhattan, and the site of the World Trade Center before 9/11.
